New Year

So, it is a new year…  what now?  I could barely get used to 2007 and it is already 2008.  My kids are growing so fast and there is so much I want to do, to learn, places I want to go, etc. and time is going too fast!  Here are some of my thoughts on New Year’s Day

*learn Spanish!  (carry over goal from last year)

*HEAL, get strength back

*lose weight (always a goal)

*stick to my budget

*journal at least 1 time per week, taking more pictures (hopefully someday my kids will appreciate this!)

 

I like the new year because I can renew myself, my goals, and my resolutions.  Why is it so hard to remember these things as soon as tomorrow?

 

Today, I am grateful for a healthy body that seems to be working very hard to heal itself–what would I do if my body couldn’t heal itself?, for physical therapy and the amazing people that have dedicated their education to helping people like me in our circumstances, my husband who loves his "peace and quiet" ; ) , for my cute niece and nephew who stopped by today-they are so sweet, my kids who are continually teaching me patience!
