first, NYC-April 23-28 and it was GREAT.  A girls’ trip to NYC included me, Kristie, Lindsey, Lauren, mom, grandma, 4 broadway shows, (Rent, Grease, Wicked, and Hairspray) a tour of NBC studios, a double decker bus ride, a carriage ride through Central Park, shopping on Canal street, 18 new purses (between all of us) lots of food, TONS of walking, and a stretch limo ride to the airport (with some sparkling cider–they said they have never had that request before).  Oh, I can’t forget waking up at about 2:00am to the sound of you know what going on next door…  CRAZY loud!!!!  We had such a good time!  I am ready to go back for some more shopping.

second, Women’s Conference in Provo, UT May 1-2 (left April 30th and returned May 3rd).  Utah included me, Alisha, Courtney, Kristen, Gabrielle, Kelly, Minda, Rachelle, Delaina, Lettie, Cara, snow and wind, blisters from walking, new shoes, lots of IPod I, VERY late nights, living in the dorm, yummy food at Magelby’s Fresh, some great inspiring classes AND the opportunity to be in the Marriott Center with Pres. Monson as our final speaker.  I have pretty much decided that I need to be there every year!  I came home with a renewed dedication to my family, my marriage and was inspired to strengthen my testimony.  I have heard that these good feelings and inspiration last for at least 2 weeks : ) …

So, what else lies ahead????  Tim was such a great dad–took care of the kids most of the time that I was gone (he had a trip that overlapped only 2 days) and the house looked amazing and the kids were bathed and clean.  Zane is now Daddy’s boy  : {  but I am working on earning him back.  : }
