At enrichment last night, Cara and I thought we would do something funny-it was funny but we got caught, like 2 little kids. We took Bruce’s camera (when he was busy eating dinner-it was just sitting there, how could we pass the opportunity) and were going to hurry and take some random pictures that we thought he wouldn’t find until he was reviewing much later. Well, we didn’t know that the flash was being triggered… we were in the kitchen with the camera and he was in the room where the flash was. Isn’t that so dumb? We gave ourselves away without even knowing. (btw, Bruce had the task of taking pictures throughout the evening -that is why all that stuff was there. We thought he would get home and start reviewing his project and see these pictures… ha, ha, ha, right?) So, I am sure his thoughts went something like this, "That was my flash," (another flash) "should I be worried about my equipment? I wonder if some kid has my camera…???" (another flash) "I better go check and see what is going on…," (another flash). As he walked into the kitchen we were just putting it down but DANG we got caught. It would have been so funny if he didn’t know we did it. But, it was pretty funny when we were caught. Bruce, thanks for laughing. We were nervous-which added to the excitement and made it more funny to us. Hopefully, it was all a good joke.
Here is all we were able to accomplish…
See, don’t you think that would have been funny tucked in the middle of too many serious enrichment photos?
I post this because… here is why. Tiffany-you wonder why something happens and then I am posting it moments later?!!?!?!?! I tried to explain that I want my kids to know (and anybody else who cares 50-100 yrs down the road) that I had fun, loved to be goofy, laughed, played, etc. We were just trying to be funny. We laughed-so it was funny to us-I guess you had to be there. BUT the point is, I needed to post this because I would have forgotten about it within a couple days. So there… : } So, Tiffany, try it-you might love it too! You would be surprised at all that happens in a day, in a moment, in a thought!
Later, I did get this picture via email. It was taken near the end of the event. I suppose he wasn’t too mad about it after all–
Partners in Crime!!!
All is forgiven.
