So, here is our view in the morning (Jay, no it is NOT broken. ; ) it is still beautiful!)
Today, just as I would have it, we visited Xochitl’s and it was mmmm, yummy! I learned about this place from Jay and Amber (also their condo we are renting) and I should thank them again. I look forward to Rocky Pointe for this reason! (well, I suppose other reasons as well)
Jill has never been to Mexico so she followed behind me as we drove from our beautiful condo at Bella Sirena to Choya Bay-no words. I was trying to imagine her thoughts and funny faces as we drove past some very interesting things and homes.
So as you know, I have a camera with me at most times. I have yet to capture the most amazing story but I do get some fun pictures of my friends and family! Jill has many facial expressions-here are just a few.
Can’t you just totally picture her saying, "WWWWWWWhat?"
I love to be around Jill. She is such a funny person. AND, she is the best storyteller. You can give her any old story and she adds the facial expression, the voice fluctuations, the eyes, etc. and it becomes amazing. If you think you have a boring life, just let Jill tell your life story and you all the sudden will love it. ; }
Here they are across from me at breakfast. Have you ever seen so many colors in one restaurant? Well, just go visit Mexico!
After breakfast, we had play time. I lugged that BIG HUGE CAMERA with me. I am not sure that I loved it.
Here is a moment… I wish I had a super duper zoom lens because Lettie, Jaci and Bailey went out on the jet ski. I couldn’t even get a good picture. DARN!
Can we talk about this? Well, I am going to anyway… How do children get sand literally from head to toe? Zane had some sand granules in his eyelashes… Here is his darling face simply to prove that even though he never went swimming, didn’t lay in the sand, didn’t even sit in the sand, he could not deny being at the beach.
Zoe is really fighting against pictures today (well yesterday too, and the day before, and the day before…) I had a millisecond to get her and I did. He he he…
And don’t you just love a beach bum?
I am finding that there is a disadvantage of holding the camera-you never get to prove that you were there and had fun too. Here is one little tiny snippet of me, just to say that I was there. There you go, I WAS THERE TOO.
Here is more about Jill (sorry to put you on display here). She doesn’t love water all that much. I have only seen her swim once and I have known her for several years. You won’t believe what happened today… not only did she bring her boys to the beach for the very first time, come to Mexico for the very first time but she ALSO played in the ocean with the kids. Holy cow! It looks like she first had to think about it…
Then, she couldn’t believe she was really doing it!
Then, I think she actually had fun. : )
She also went on the jet ski with Erica and Jake. So, when she walked back on the beach, I needed to get proof that YES, Jill did get wet-she went in the ocean. I bet her kids loved it!
So, back to the day… (Jill, you are taking over my blog with all your amazing accomplishments today-stop that)
Here is a picture I LOVE. We spent some time on the beach and then went back to the pools. What is a pool day without a Pina Colada? We had some to go around so here are the pictures of it being enjoyed.
OH YES, another millisecond chance to get Zoe. I do love this one!
I will wrap up our day with pictures at the pools… playing and having fun. It is quiet time now, so I will make the most of it and get this finished. I love it here, only wish it was about ten degrees cooler!
