in no particular order…
Going to the bank on "budget day", a good bra from Nordstrom’s, Sushi (French Kiss roll from Sushi Creek and shrimp tempura roll), Photoshop, Photography, Golden Spoon, toilet seats down, reading and eventually falling asleep, LEARNING, napping, yummy lotions , buying birthday gifts for friends, a good blanket, ah-hah moments, friendship, singing, riding, purses, teaching, a good pencil, goals, kayaking, exercising, reading friends’ blogs, technology (that’s for you Tim), my siblings and their families, a best friend, good slippers, gum, the doorbell ringing with a surprise visitor, going to the temple, sleeping in, laughing, playing iPod Idol, traveling-especially with good travel companions, good neighbors, colors, a clean house, meeting new people, watching my kids play, AZ weather right now, watching the sunrise, watching the sunset, losing weight, dancing, answered prayers, Buckle jeans, spa days, a massage from Julie, connecting, GREEN, gift cards, going out for dinner, good pictures, a good chick flick, a bath, the beach, flip flops, shoes, being excited, leaves that STAY on the trees (until I have a landscaper), Weight Watchers, compliments (sounds ridiculous but positive feedback is so boosting), my Pilot, my watch from Sarah, my bed (sleep number bed… Tim is NOT in love with the bed), camping, skiing, hiking, ok… being outdoors, when kids can swing by themselves, cool dishes, bananas, Pita Jungle, palm trees that sway, a waterfall, listening to music, and my blog. What would I do without a place to talk to myself? : )
Hi Lisa,
I really enjoyed this post. We have so many things in common (the little important things!) that I finally have to write to you! I came across your blog a few weeks ago through Darin Woolwine. We lived across the street from each other during grades 6-11 and I recently connected with him on facebook. Anyway, he put a link to the family photos you took on his facebook so I thought I would take a look at his beautiful family. You did (and are doing) an amazing job with your photography. I decided to scroll down and read a few more posts which turned into reading all 200+ in one sitting! I love how you shared your everyday feelings, experiences with your children & husband, good times with your girlfriends etc, etc! I was hooked. I have never had a journal before and I was starting to think I had missed out! My kids are almost grown and life is moving so fast! But…it's never too late in life to start something new, so, Lisa, I wanted to say YOU INSPIRED ME! I'm not so easily inspired but you did it and I started my own blog on 1-1-2009 (cliché, I know) I have been following you anonymously but I decided this morning you should know someone out in cyberspace has been affected in a wonderful way by you. Thanks! …and here’s to another year of happy “blogging” for you and for me a first!
Smiles,
LeeAnne Bailey
