A lesson learned?

A bit back, I copied something from a stranger’s blog-something about how the world always looks better on somebody else’s blog.  Well, I should have stopped following some blogs and just been concerned with my own, which is hard enough to keep up with, but I didn’t.

I just finished catching up on about 15 blogs and I now I pretty much feel:

fat

rude

ugly

fat again

out of style

behind

fat some more

boring

tired

So, what have I learned from this evenings lessons…  stop following those blogs, right?  But I can’t because they make me laugh and want to be better.  They inspire me, the challenge me.  Weird how that works!

So on with my boring life, overweight body, ugly pictures, and rude behavior…  :)

I am thankful, so thankful for the gift I have called organization.  I am thankful for my hand-me-down iPhone (this is called reverse psychology).  I am thankful for my studio that feels like fresh air when I walk in it.  I need to finish with door handles and cool pictures than I will have a place I call my own.  I am thankful my Sleep Number pillow.  I am thankful for little notepads at an inexpensive price.  I love lists.  I LOVE LISTS.  I can’t help but write a list.  And then, I have to rewrite the list when the first list gets messy or I have crossed off half of the list.  I go through notepaper like toilet paper (did I just say that?).  I am thankful for the joyous days when I arrive and see packages at my front door.  I can finally say that 1/2 the packages are now for me (well, for people ordering pictures).  I am stealing some thunder from Tim… its my turn for packages!  I am thankful for Shade Boyfriend T-shirts.  They are good for a girl who is large and in charge.  I am grateful for gift certificates.  Its like spending someone else’s money.  I am grateful for my little white glove.  I love editing on my Wacom with my little white glove.  Some people come unexpectedly to my door and I walk away from the computer and answer with my little white glove and its funny.  I forget about it and they think I am paying some tribute to Michael Jackson.  Which, I would do, but not now.  I am grateful for my dearest friends who make my life full of adventure, laughter, and good food.  But, I can’t finish on that note.  I am thankful for WW who has helped me stay focused and lose about 4 pounds (applause here please).  It is slow but steady and with that previous statement (about food) slow and steady is the only way for me to win the race (that and discontinuing the reading of those pretentious bloggers!)  ; )

Goodnight!
