Jumpstreet

It has been Christmas break for 2 weeks now.  We have 1 1/2 more to go.  And not that I’m counting down but trying to find things to do (so it doesn’t appear that I spend too much time on the computer or am a boring mom) gets to be a difficult task.  Kelly told me all about Jumpstreet in Chandler.  It sounded awesome and a sure way to get some good exercise and tire out the children!  Kelly and I signed a waiver-we were going to jump too (of course).  Jumpstreet is a building full of side by side trampolines.  You can bounce off the side trampolines or the traditional jump works too.

Rosie had no fear!  She jumped and jumped and did all sorts of karate air chops.  In the end, her back was hurting he (probably from playing too much of Crack The Egg) but she was a great sport and a fun friend to have with us!

Ellie also was a fearless jumper!  She was full of jumps.  She was the experienced friend-as she had been here before.  She showed us all the ropes.  I love the crazy air hair!

Zoe was not so fearless but a bit more cautious.  She loved climbing up the sides and sliding down.  Again, loving the crazy jump hair!  There she is flashing Peace to the world (again).  : )

We didn’t see much of Daimon.  He played dodgeball and jumped from space to space with Jake.  The two of them were so sweaty and tired when it was finally time to go.

Jake loved running the length of the trampoline, running up the side, the running back across to the other side.  He checked every so often to make sure I was panning with the camera and catching his moves!

Then there was Brody and his friend who came around for all of 2 minutes.  His favorite spot was the dodgeball room.  As he jumped by us, I asked for his craziest jump for the record.  It is pretty crazy!

All 3 girls together-a very rare moment!  Due to the dynamics of a bounce, my incredible desire to get a photo of all in the air was not enough to make it happen!  I worked at it for a while and eventually the safety worker guy asked me to stand up and not sit on the sideline any longer. argh!jumpGirls

Then for the all time favorites, KELLY in the air!  She went for it-the back flip!  She made it, landed it and only showed a little crack.  : )

I only handed off my camera for a few short moments when Kelly was determined to get a few with me in them.  I was playing Crack the Egg with the kids.  I think it has been a long time since I was laughing and sweating that hard-at the same time!     jumpMe So, if you are looking for something to do with the kiddos… try Jumpstreet.  It is on Warner, just east of Arizona Ave.  www.gotjump.com

I had fun, we all returned safely.  (I can’t imagine what the insurance is like for that place)
