Zane’s Birthday round 2

Remember how I am “out of office” (forgot my camera) and had to ask for party attendees’ pictures?  Yes, Zane had a birthday, he turned 4, had a Thomas the Tank Engine cake and pizza to eat.  We had lots of family with us and here is proof.

Who am I?

Just when I think I have a tough day…   Stephanie, thanks for continually inspiring me in ways beyond my capacity to understand.  You have changed lives… I was moved when I found this tonight!  Trials have impact on me-always for the better.  The learning and growing comes from stretching ourselves outside of what is [...]

My sunshine today

This was given to me from 2 of my dear friends.  Zoe saw me wearing it when she jumped in the car after school.  “Mom, how did you get that necklace?”  I answered her and let her know that it was given to me as a gift.  I loved her response… “They sure know your [...]

Preschool graduation

Well, he is not only 4, but he finished his first year in preschool.  Ms. Jodi had a graduation program-remember the first half of the year’s program he stood and did NOTHING… he was giddy and excited this time! I will narrate! Ms. Jodi lined them up and brought them out of the classroom (door [...]

Out of office

I am on a involuntary mental vacation.  Zane’s birthday was Sunday (shared the day with Mother’s Day), the same day we got back from Seattle.  I felt terrible about not being able to spend the day with him but thanks goodness for family.  TJ and Lauren took care of him and sang to him and [...]

Swim lessons have begun

Zane has officially started swimming lessons.  He remembered what he worked on last year and did a fantastic job.  I was a bit edgy because last year he cried and cried and frankly, I didn’t want to hear it this year.  My backbone has become weak.  ; (  He is so excited to go again [...]

Trailer Trash Women’s Conference

This was out take on what we usually do at the end of April.  Instead of going to Utah this year, we did a trailer trash version.  We stayed in the trailer and had our own little classes in the morning.  I loved learning from the other girls and discussing and sharing!  I didn’t take [...]

Another first

I have learned and lived so many things in the QC, another reason why it is sad to leave!  To my dear children, I promise I have made cinnamon rolls.  This may be the only time I make them since it made 7 pans and I don’t need 7 pans sitting around here!  Holidays are [...]
