I bought this book about what to do with your kids in Washington. I diligently read it with all the great intentions of the world. But then, life seemed to get in the way. Things like laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, mothering, cleaning, and doing things like keeping my family up to date through my blog seem to take over. ; )
Anyhow, I finally took advantage of some time and took the kids to see this… the Troll. He sits under the bridge and was sculpted by some artist long ago. He is pretty dang big and scary and in his hand is a VW slug bug. The kids climbed all over him along with some other touristy types of people. The kids thanked me and told me they had such a fun day. Now, if I only would have known that visiting a Troll would have brought just great joy…
I just saw this troll on a (Lifetime) movie that was based in Seattle. I know…what am I doing watching Lifetime? I must be desperate.
