I probably mentioned a while ago the strangest movie, Ponyo!  Well, Tim has been on the mad hunt to find it for the kids (and maybe to secretly understand what was so weird about it).  Well, no mission is a mission left undone-he found it.  Not only did Zane sit and watch this strange movie today, he wore a strange hat to go along with it.  Notice the broken battery pack that supposedly turns on hat lights???  Notice its size.  Oh, and notice my clean walls that we finally had painted and patched up!

I just had to stop when I heard the tunes!  Ya know that sound of the ice cream truck coming closer and closer?  I haven’t visited the ice cream truck since Jr. High School.  I had Zane and Jase on a bike ride with me but they weren’t quite as excited as me.  They didn’t know what that sound was or what it meant!

We cycled quickly to our house to pick up some money and get back before she pulled away.  They both pointed to the picture of Fun Dip and said that is what they wanted.  Me, I picked the ice cream sandwich and it was a delicious cold treat.  : )  We ate our treats on the curb and then rode our bikes back home.  What a fabulous Saturday afternoon activity! 

Zane has been caught rockin’ out before… remember the Journey recording?  Well, here we are again BUT in a new way.  Oh boy, this is hilarious!  What is her learning from his older sister and should I be worried???

Zane and The Dance

I couldn’t find that little rascal today.  We have had a house of chaos… painters, garage sales, and a messy house.  I was trying to get something done (and by the way, Zoe came home from school and said, “Mom, no my teacher knows you are always on the computer.”  I was curious as to what started the conversation and topic so of course I inquired…  turns out that the teacher asked the whole class about mothers who work on the computer and Zoe gladly volunteered the truth about her home and said, “My mom is ALWAYS on the computer.”  So, now note my time… 1:24 am, yep AM-just trying to lose that title of always being on the computer!) so I was distracted for a few moments in my office.  I hollered for Zane and no reaction or sound.  I started trying to find him.  Since he is in that most HATED stage of always hiding, I never know if I should worry or keep looking.  Today, I kept looking and thought I would humor him.  Turns out that he just needed a little cuddle time out with Doggie.  I found him on the floor in my room, wrapped up in my leopard Snuggie blanket with Doggie by his side-just resting for a bit.  I went back to get my camera before he saw me.  After he noticed me and the camera, he asked me to take all sorts of shots of him with Doggie-so cute!

Don’t let this picture deter from the truth!  He has been quite the stinker lately!  I’m glad I saw this (and captured it) because it reminded me that deep down inside, he really can be a sweet boy.  : )

I suppose that means in every way!  He actually sits in the chair without wiggling and causing a scene!  The sad news… the haircut is terrible and to the point of being embarrassing.  He sat great the first time but not sure how it will be the second time around.  hmmm…
