I was prompted for this picture today due to the awesome necklace she was wearing.  My friend Lettie made the necklace and was wanting a copy of this picture.  (She is in the business of making these beauties-if your interested!)  When I pulled it up, I remembered how I liked it!  Lettie, your necklaces are super awesome!  (so were your presents!)

Lettie hosted a holiday luncheon with a gift exchange today.  I was late but what else is new (had 2 appointments prior to Lettie’s so I promise I wasn’t just late because of no good reason)?  I walked in to see a beautiful site of women, decor, food and fun.  I loved what I saw and grabbed my camera right away.  Did I even greet the others?  Not sure.  I was trying to capture what was in my heart!  I saw a table full of women who are so good as wives, mothers, friends.  I saw women who want to do good, who want to share inspiration and motivation.  I saw women who treasure moments together, who love a good meal and a little bling.  ; )  It was a beautiful site.  Thank you Lettie, what a gift you shared today.  Thank you for opening your home, for providing us all with fabulous memories and I am humbled to be surrounded by such great ladies!

For records sake, I really was there… see me in the corner over there?  Thanks to mirrors!  I can not do self pics with that thing-too heavy and awkward! OH, should I be worried about wrinkled left eye?  It is always squinting when I have my camera, which is pretty much always.

I am grateful for tripods, windows and flashes.  I am grateful for silliness, black (a supposed slenderizing color) and new friends.  I am grateful for soups, rolls and treats.  I am grateful for my camera, taking me through this life and all my experiences that I want to remember!
